THE BRIEF
Create a suite of fun custom illustrated icons as part of the new brand platform for Instant Kiwi.
THE RESULT
Instant Kiwi is one of New Zealand's most loved brands - Lotto NZ's home of scratchies and instant games. As part of a brand refresh led by DDB, I was brought in to develop a custom icon suite, launching with a Married at First Sight Australia partnership on ThreeNow.
The style needed to feel like the product - tactile, a bit rough, full of energy. I landed on a loose hand-drawn illustration style that speaks to the scratch-and-win experience, built out into a system of 100+ icons. The icon style has gone on to inform the motion design style, even featuring in the brand refresh TVC, directed by DDB.
