THE BRIEF
Design the new visual identity for the FY24-FY29 strategic period of corporate reporting, including delivery of 5 large annual publications. The aim was to modernise our visual corporate language, create a digital-first approach and a strong design system to simplify the production of multiple annual reports plus various additional print collateral presented to our Minister at Government hearings.
THE RESULT
The result of the corporate reporting redesign was clean and modern, reducing previous decorative elements for a fresher look which played into our 5 year strategy and vision of streamlining customer experience.This helped us lay out a strong visual frameworks to communicate some significant proposals and transformations to both our Minister and Government, as well as our customer base, resulting in better comprehension of our messaging. I moved us to a landscape format to achieve digital-first engagement, as 90% of engagement of these documents is online via the Lotto NZ website.I developed a new system for data visualisation, graphic elements and tables, to create a cohesive visual language.I developed a core design system and set up various InDesign templates and styles, to simplify the building of complex documents involving large financial charts as well as long form written content.
